Suhail star’s rising signals the beginning of the end for the UAE’s intense summer heat
We get it, August feels like a never-ending sauna. But guess what? There’s a light at the end of this sweaty tunnel! And in the mornings, we are already feeling those cooler (relatively speaking) cooler temps blowing in.
In about two weeks, though, the Suhail star is set to rise, and that means one thing: cooler days are on the horizon, apparently.
According to Ibrahim Al Jarwan of the Emirates Astronomy Society, the Suhail star’s appearance marks the beginning of the end for our summer’s scorching heat.
But don’t pack away your fans just yet—the real drop in temperatures will take its sweet time, roughly 70 to 80 days.
