The Art of Recycling winners have just been announced capping another resounding campaign with over 400 entries
The moment you have been waiting for has finally arrived as we are about to unveil the winners of the second edition of the Art of Recycling competition.
For the last four months you have stepped into a world where creativity meets sustainability and we received over 400 wonderful projects since we launched the initiative last October.
Team Yalla and Abu Dhabi Mall were overwhelmed with the response. All you eco-art maestros out there have managed to transform discarded treasures into masterpieces, proving that style and environmental consciousness go hand in hand.
All the shortlisted entries took pride of place in Abu Dhabi Mall for the last number of weeks with many different schools throughout the capital scooping top honours in the different categories.
From repurposed plastics to upcycled extravagance, entries radiated a unique blend of innovation and eco-chic flair. Our panel of three judges had the delightful but also difficult task of selecting winners. Indeed such was the high standards of the projects submitted we had to add more runner-up prizes in many categories!
Prepare to be dazzled by the avant-garde brilliance of our winners, whose eco-conscious ingenuity turned trash into treasure.
We want to take this moment to thank each one of you for taking time out and engaging in this community-led competition. For those who did not make the shortlist please do try again next year!
And to those who made the final shortlist and our overall winners, we congratulate and salute you for your creativity, hard work and your endeavors. The shortlisted entries will all receive a voucher for Abu Dhabi Mall as a token of their appreciation.
