Aldar to Deliver Abu Dhabi’s First Tesla Experience Centre

Tesla’s new purpose-built facility brings showroom, service and delivery under one roof

Abu Dhabi is set to welcome its first Tesla Experience Centre, as Aldar announced plans to develop a purpose-built facility on Yas Island.

The development will mark a major milestone for both Tesla and Aldar, bringing together a showroom, service centre, and delivery hall into a single integrated site, delivering a comprehensive brand experience for customers in the UAE capital.

Spanning over 5,000 square metres of leasable space, the facility is being designed to offer a premium customer experience while streamlining Tesla’s operational capabilities in the region.

The move underscores Tesla’s long-term commitment to the UAE market and its ongoing strategy to strengthen its presence across the Middle East.

The project also reinforces Yas Island’s growing status as a hub for global brands.

Strategically positioned along the E12 highway, with excellent connectivity to both Abu Dhabi and Dubai, the location is fast becoming one of the UAE’s most sought-after destinations for retail, lifestyle, and innovation-led investments.

For Aldar, the Tesla project reflects the company’s growing influence in the build-to-suit real estate segment.

With a proven track record and an expanding industrial and logistics portfolio, Aldar continues to attract major international tenants seeking customised and future-ready spaces in the UAE.

The development of the Tesla Experience Centre further cements Aldar’s reputation as a preferred partner for global players entering or expanding in the region.

Sustainability is also at the heart of the new centre’s design.

Targeting an Estidama 3 Pearl rating, the facility will incorporate a range of environmentally conscious features, including rooftop solar panels, high-efficiency HVAC systems, low-emission building materials, LED lighting, and rainwater recycling systems.

These elements reflect a Net Zero-aligned approach, aligning with both Aldar and Tesla’s broader environmental commitments.

Additionally, the site will be equipped with 170 dedicated parking spaces, including 20 V4 Tesla Supercharger stalls, providing high-speed charging infrastructure to support the growing adoption of electric vehicles in the UAE.

Scheduled for completion in 2027, the Tesla Experience Centre on Yas Island represents a significant step in the evolution of sustainable mobility and customer-centric service in the region.

It also highlights the continued alignment between global innovators like Tesla and regional leaders like Aldar in shaping the future of infrastructure, mobility, and urban development in the UAE.
