The new app transforms everyday tasks into effortless automation
Move over, Siri, because Abu Dhabi just hired the world’s first AI public servant.
At GITEX Global 2025, the capital unveiled TAMM AutoGov, an artificial intelligence that doesn’t just talk, it gets things done.
From renewing your licence to paying your bills before you even remember they’re due, AutoGov is designed to make government services as smooth as your morning scroll.
The new upgrade to the TAMM super-app is part of Abu Dhabi’s big plan to become an “AI-native government” by 2027, shifting from the old “click and apply” style to what officials call “anticipatory governance”, meaning the system acts before you even have to ask.
New AI public servant in Abu Dhabi: What it means for you
Imagine renewing your licence or paying your fees without the usual rush, reminders, or paperwork. TAMM AutoGov is built to take the hassle out of everyday admin.
Here’s what it can do:
- Renew your licences automatically (with your permission, of course)
- Handle regular payments or applications
- Send smart reminders exactly when you need them
Basically, it’s your personal assistant, but one that works 24/7 and never forgets a deadline.
Who’s behind the brains?
TAMM AutoGov is powered by Abu Dhabi’s Department of Government Enablement (DGE) in collaboration with some of the biggest tech names out there: NVIDIA, Oracle, and others, all working together to build fast, secure, and sovereign AI systems.
The idea is to keep your data safe, your services smooth, and your patience intact.

Why this is the next big thing
TAMM AutoGov marks a real shift, from a government that reacts when you ask for help to one that anticipates what you need.
There will be less paperwork, fewer queues, and faster approvals. It’s the kind of smart governance that could redefine how cities operate, starting right here in Abu Dhabi.
So, while the rest of the world’s still figuring out how to use AI to write emails, Abu Dhabi’s teaching it how to govern.
