We’ve all been there – the dreaded messaged to say you have a new traffic fine.
From sudden stops on the road, speed limit violations and overtaking school buses, there is a lot to think about when you’re driving around Abu Dhabi.
But thanks to the helpful TAMM app, if you do get an unfortunate fine, you can still score a few dirhams off.
Together with the Abu Dhabi Police, TAMM offers an exclusive discount if you pay via the app.
All you have to do is make sure you pay early, and the earlier the better. If you pay in the first 60 days after the violation date, you save 35% of the total amount.
This goes down to 25% after 60 days, but it only last for up until a year since the violation date, and it does not apply to serious violations.

The post on social media read: “In collaboration with Abu Dhabi Police, you can now benefit from an exclusive discount on your traffic fines in Abu Dhabi if you pay through “TAMM”. An exclusive saving awaits you for early payment.
“A discount of 35% is applicable if the traffic fine is paid within the initial 60 days from the violation date. However, this discount does not apply to severe violations. A discount of 25% is applicable if payment is made after 60 days but within one year from the date the traffic fine was issued.”
