Al Hisn Street closure now permanent in Abu Dhabi

Abu Dhabi Mobility announces a permanent closure along Al Hisn Street

 

If Al Hisn Street is part of your daily commute, you’ll need to adjust your route.

Abu Dhabi Mobility has permanently closed a section of Al Hisn Street between Zayed The First Street and Hamdan Bin Mohammed Street in both directions.

The closure came into effect on Saturday, 23 August, and is part of the city’s evolving transport and infrastructure improvements.

No vehicles are permitted on this stretch moving forward.

Drivers are advised to plan ahead and use alternative roads to avoid delays. No official detour routes have been announced yet, but surrounding streets remain open to ease the traffic flow.
