The Mother of the Nation festival is making a comeback – here’s what we already know

Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra are set for weeks of family fun

 

One of Abu Dhabi’s favourite family festivals, Mother of the Nation (MOTN) Festival, is returning this winter for 2025.

Spreading across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra, the festival promises weeks of fun for the whole family.

Catch the festivities in Al Dhafra and Al Ain from 28 November to 4 January before the action moves to Abu Dhabi from 10 December through to 4 January 2026.

The exact Abu Dhabi venue is yet to be confirmed, though past editions have been hosted at the Abu Dhabi Corniche.

Festival highlights include interactive museums, live shows, immersive experiences, and a feast of food trucks, with a New Year’s Eve celebration that’s open to all ages. Ticket prices are yet to be announced.

With multiple family-friendly events returning this winter, Abu Dhabi is set for a season full of excitement, exploration, and unforgettable memories.
