Etihad Airways has announced the commencement of its A380 service to Paris, Charles de Gaulle Airport, starting 1 November.

This move marks Paris as the third major city to be served by the luxurious A380, following London and New York.

Etihad Airways’ CEO, Antonoaldo Neves, expressed excitement about this development, stating, “As a city celebrated for its style and ambiance, Paris is the perfect destination for our iconic A380 aircraft. This enhancement reflects our commitment to delivering award-winning comfort and service across all cabin classes.”

He further added, “The introduction of the A380 on the Abu Dhabi – Paris route enriches both leisure and corporate travel. It underscores Etihad’s commitment to facilitating business connections and travel to Abu Dhabi and beyond.”

The A380 is transforming the air travel experience with its unique offerings.

Economy passengers are welcomed with comfortable seating arrangements, including 68 seats with four extra inches of legroom and 337 Smart seats featuring Etihad’s innovative fixed-wing headrests and large pillows.

On the upper deck, Business Studios™ provide 70 private spaces, complemented by The Lobby lounge area. Each Business Studio is equipped with premium amenities designed with Armani/Casa and WiFi connectivity, ensuring a productive and luxurious travel experience.

First Apartments offer nine luxurious private spaces with designer tableware, leather chairs, and a spacious ottoman-bed. First-class guests also receive personal amenities and can enjoy an exclusive shower room, adding to the exceptional experience offered by the A380.

Yesterday (24th April), we reported how Etihad Airways flight EY1 from Abu Dhabi to New York arrived at John F. Kennedy International Airport on Monday 22 April, heralding the start of the airline’s A380 double-decker service featuring The Residence, the legendary, sumptuous three-room suite in the sky.

After a celebratory send-off in Abu Dhabi, Etihad pilots waved the US and UAE flags from the cockpit after the super-jumbo arrived on its stand in New York.
