Ethara, the powerhouse behind the Formula 1® Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix, has been named Promoter of the Year at the 2026 F1 Promoter Awards in London.
The accolade celebrates Ethara’s incredible 2025 season, where the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix didn’t just host a race; it delivered an epic four-day festival of speed, music, and culture.
The 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was nothing short of spectacular. Fans witnessed a dramatic three-way fight for the F1 Drivers’ Championship, culminating in Lando Norris claiming his first title.

But it wasn’t just about the on-track action. Yas Marina Circuit welcomed a record-breaking 203,000 spectators, while the Emirates NBD After-Race Concerts and Yasalam Official After-Parties drew an additional 136,000 fans, all grooving to eight headline acts.
Ethara made sure everyone felt closer to the action, with public pitlane walks, FAB Track Walks, and even a Podium Party that let fans celebrate right on the track.
This award is recognition of Ethara’s commitment to making the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix a global entertainment phenomenon.
Since the race’s debut in 2009, Abu Dhabi has transformed the event into a weekend-long extravaganza, combining top-class motorsport with jaw-dropping live entertainment, music, and culture.
From twilight racing under the lights to world-class hospitality and access to iconic attractions like Ferrari World Abu Dhabi, Warner Bros. Abu Dhabi, Yas Waterworld, Louvre Abu Dhabi, and Qasr Al Watan, the Grand Prix delivers a fan experience like no other.
The excitement continues in 2026 with the 18th edition of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix from 3–6 December, promising more high-octane thrills and unforgettable moments.
