The Eid Al Adha confirmed dates are here – and we can’t wait for the next public holiday!

A four-day long weekend is finally happening for residents of the UAE.

Eid Al Adha falls on the Dhul Hijjah 10 (or Arafat Day) after Saudi Arabia sighted the Dhul Hijah moon last night, making Friday 7 June as the first day of Dhul Hijjah., meaning Eid Al Adha will fall on the Saturday 15 June until Tuesday 18 June.

Work will resume on Wednesday, 19 June for the public and private sector.

With a nicely sized break on the agenda, it’s time to get planning! From being dazzled by the spectacular fireworks across the UAE capital to some well-deserved time away to these amazing spots – there’s no dearth of amazing things to do in Abu Dhabi during the long break.

If you’re not jetting off somewhere, you could always plan a cute little road trip with your loved ones for some quality time without breaking the bank!

We can’t wait.
