Gordo brings his signature deep, high-energy sound to WHITE on Yas Island
It’s not just the temperatures rising in Abu Dhabi, as WHITE is bringing the heat in a big way this May.
And while the lineup is stacked from throughout, all eyes are firmly on US based DJ Gordo, who’s set to take over the decks on 16 May.
If the name sounds familiar, it’s because Gordo has had a serious evolution. He previously performed as Carnage, known for high-energy EDM and festival sets, before rebranding and shifting into a deeper, more refined sound.
Now, he’s all about groove blending house, tech, and global influences into sets that feel less like a playlist and more like a journey.
Fresh off a huge appearance at Coachella, he’s arriving in Abu Dhabi with major momentum.
And if you’ve seen him live, or even just clips, you’ll know his sets hit differently. He builds things slowly, layering sounds, pulling the crowd in, and then releasing it at just the right moment.

That said, May isn’t just about one night. The month kicks off strong with Mathame and Innellea on 9 May, bringing their signature melodic techno sound.
Later in the month, Francis Mercier lands on 29 May with his globally influenced house sets, followed by Themba on 30 May, known for his Afro-tech energy.
And they’re not done yet as more names are still to come across June and July.
But if you’re picking one night right now, May 16 feels like the perfect way to kick off the summer season.
