This is a huge Middle East first
We’re just a few weeks away from the Abu Dhabi Royal Equestrian Arts (ADREA) officially opening, and guess what? The big unveil comes with an opening gala to showcase the exquisite equestrian art.
The two-day event will see the existing four schools from Austria, Spain, Portugal and France perform for the audience, with ADREA presenting its own ensemble of riders and horses for the very first time.
Happening over 1 and 2 November, guests will be among the first to witness the UAE’s first permanent home for classical horsemanship, which will blend Emirati heritage with timeless haute école tradition.

The Spanish Riding School, based in Austria, will bring its world-renowned Lipizzaner stallions and the elegance of the “ballet of the white stallions,” while the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Arts will showcase the passion and tradition of Andalusia’s famed “dancing horses”.
Continuing with the Iberian theme, the Portuguese School of Equestrian Art will show off the precision and heritage of the Lusitano horse, while the French Cadre Noir De Saumur will present a unique fusion of haute école horsemanship and performing arts.
As well as enjoying the performances, you will also be one of the first to explore the 65,000-square-metre estate that is now home to ADREA, on Jubail Island.
Over the two days, the gala’s schedule includes interactive talks and activations, access to the all-equestrian library with rare and original works, curated food and beverage offerings, all coming together to create a refined and immersive atmosphere for all attendees.
