And here’s everything you need to know
If you’re planning your morning commute or your weekend Corniche run, a little heads-up: Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Street (E10) will be partially closed for ten days as the city gives its roads some TLC.
From Friday, 10 October to Monday, 20 October, roadworks will be in full swing, so expect some detours and extra travel time (and maybe a new podcast for the drive).
Here’s the lowdown:
10-14 Oct: The three left lanes towards the Corniche are closed.
14-20 Oct: The two right lanes towards the Corniche are next in line for a temporary closure.

But don’t worry, because you still need to be on the roads, you’ve got other options.
Authorities have pointed out a few alternative routes that’ll keep you moving smoothly: Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Street, Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Street, and Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street.
So whether you’re heading to the office, brunch, or a beach stroll, give yourself a little extra time, and maybe a bit of patience, while Abu Dhabi keeps its roads running like new.
