Couples in Abu Dhabi, here’s a new way to say “I do”, and all you need is your phone.
Thanks to the Tamm app, which bundles hundreds of government services in one spot, you can now get married online for just AED 800 from literally anywhere in the world.
Launched at the GITEX conference in Dubai and backed by the Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, the service makes official weddings super convenient.
Ceremonies can happen in person or virtually via a secure WebEx link, with your officiant, two witnesses, and even guests dialing in from afar.
If you’re not in the UAE? No problem, you can appoint a local power of attorney to stand in.

If you want your certificate attested then you can do so for an extra AED 300, and Tamm can automatically handle it through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and send you a digital copy with a UAE Pass signature.
No stamps, no waiting, and if you have your documents ready, the whole thing can be done in a single day.
The app also keeps things safe. Linking to UAE Pass and Emirates ID ensures only eligible couples can apply, preventing underage or forced marriages.
And while marriage is now just a tap away, Tamm also has bigger plans for your admin overall. The Abu Dhabi government also announced the launch of the world’s first AI servant, there 24/7 to help make your admin as seamless as possible.
