The American hip-hop artist will hit the court in the capital

The NBA Abu Dhabi games are right around the corner and if seeing two huge basketball teams play each other wasn’t enough, then try adding a hip-hop legend to the mix – the Fat Joe.

The rapper will be performing at the first Knicks vs. Sixers game at Etihad Arena on Thursday 2 October.

Tickets are still available so you can get in on the basketball and musical action. All you have to do is head to the official Ticketmaster websiteand get your tickets (starting from AED 150).

Since this is the first performer to be announced, we’re keeping our eyes peeled for another musical guest to be revealed for the second game on Saturday. Last year’s NBA concert was courtesy of 2 Chainz, who performed at the NBA Appreciation Day, also at Etihad Arena.

But as well as the games on the court, there is lots of basketball action happening off court too. The NBA District at Manarat Al Saadiyat will be filled with action from 2 to 5 October 2025, with everything from special appearances to concerts and a coffee rave.

The NBA legends coming to town this year are Oscar Robertson, Derrick Rose, Mark Jackson, John Starks, Rudy Gay and Michael Carter-Williams.

On the music front, artists Siilawy, Tul8te, DJ Jack, Stick No Bills and DJ D-Nice will also be performing at the “Friday Night Concert” on 3 October at 8pm.

Tickets from AED 150. For further information, visit Ticketmaster
