Residents and visitors in Eastern Mangroves, Dolphin Park, and Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street sectors will now need to pay
If you’re driving in Abu Dhabi, take note: several new areas across the capital have just been added to the Mawaqif paid parking network, according to a statement from Q Mobility.
Starting Thursday, July 10, paid parking is now active in key residential and leisure zones, including Eastern Mangroves, Dolphin Park, and several sectors along Al Khaleej Al Arabi Street, notably Al Khaleej Al Arabi Park 1, 2, 4, and 5, and Al Qurm Plaza.
The expansion follows the completion of essential infrastructure works in these locations.

This includes curb painting, directional and awareness signage, and digital system readiness, ensuring the new areas are fully equipped for a smooth parking experience.
Q Mobility, the ADQ-owned operator responsible for Abu Dhabi’s Darb toll system and Mawaqif parking, says the move is part of a broader strategy to streamline the city’s parking system, improve traffic flow, and enforce more effective public parking regulations.
Motorists are encouraged to stay informed through posted signage and to use the Darb app for easy, digital payments and parking information.
