Covering 18 stops, the Visit Abu Dhabi Shuttle Bus will cover two key routes incorporating nine hotels, nine leisure locations and two Expo Dubai 2020 bus stops in Abu Dhabi.

The first phase of the service will see operating routes connecting Yas Island, Jubail Island, Saadiyat Island, Downtown Abu Dhabi and Grand Canal

The fleet will consist of 11 buses equipped with air-conditioning, Wi-Fi, wheelchair access and comfortable seating.

His Excellency Ali Hassan Al Shaiba, Executive Director of Tourism and Marketing at DCT Abu Dhabi said: “We have world-leading attractions and entertainment here in Abu Dhabi, and whilst they are on the tourists’ lists of what to do in the city, we want to make sure they are as accessible as possible.

“The service will increase footfall to the attractions and support these entities in their operational activities.”

Visit Abu Dhabi’s shuttle bus is the second free operating service that will take people from Abu Dhabi to Expo 2020 Dubai with the Roads and Transport Authority currently ferrying visitors from Abu Dhabi Main Bus Station, Abu Dhabi International Airport, Marina Bus Station and Al Ain Bus Station in Expo Riders.
