Get ready for two wheels, big climbs and some seriously scenic
Cycling fans, February is looking pretty exciting already.
The UAE Tour is returning in 2027, bringing some of the biggest names in professional cycling back to the UAE for two major races across the country.
First up is the UAE Tour Women, which returns for its fifth edition from 3–6 February 2027.
The men’s race follows a little later, with the ninth edition of the UAE Tour taking place from 15–21 February.
Both events are part of the UCI calendar and will once again attract top international cyclists.
And while the racing is the main attraction, the UAE Tour is also a pretty spectacular way to see the country.
The races showcase the UAE’s mix of dramatic landscapes, cities, coastline and cultural landmarks, while putting its cycling infrastructure firmly in the spotlight.
The tours have also grown into something much bigger than professional bike racing.
Alongside the elite competition, the events are helping to raise the profile of women’s cycling, encourage young people and communities to get involved in the sport and support wider sustainability goals.
They also form part of the UAE’s journey towards hosting the UCI Road World Championships Abu Dhabi 2028.
AD Ports Group will once again return as the Presenting Partner for both races in 2027, continuing a partnership that began in 2026.
The collaboration is focused on supporting the continued growth of cycling while helping showcase the UAE as a destination for sport, tourism and business.
With two races, plenty of world-class cycling talent and some seriously scenic routes expected, February 2027 is shaping up to be another big month for two wheels in the UAE.
UAE Tour Women returns from 3–6 February 2027, followed by the UAE Tour Men from 15–21 February, various locations in the UAE. For further information, visit theuaetour.com
