They joined a host of international stars
The F1 Yasalam After-Race Concerts are getting even bigger, with well-know DJ act The Chainsmokers and popular Irish band The Script have been announced for this year’s Formula 1 Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix weekend.
The global stars will take to the stage on Sunday, 6 December, bringing a huge night of live music to Yas Island following the season finale.
The overall event takes place at Yas Marina Circuit from 3 to 6 December, with the concerts forming one of the biggest attractions of race weekend.
American electronic duo The Chainsmokers, made up of Alex Pall and Drew Taggart, are behind some of the biggest dance-pop hits of the past decade.
The pair shot to global fame with tracks including Closer, Something Just Like This, Don’t Let Me Down and Paris.
Irish pop-rock band The Script have built a huge international following with their emotional songwriting, soaring choruses and instantly recognisable sound.
The Dublin-formed group are best known for hits including The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Breakeven, Hall of Fame and Superheroes.
So far, organisers have revealed a seriously impressive line-up, with Zara Larsson and Lewis Capaldi kicking things off on Thursday, 3 December.
Then, on Saturday, 5 December, it’s the turn of Grammy-winning rock band Imagine Dragons. Expect a huge arena-style show packed with some of the group’s biggest hits, including Believer, Thunder and Whatever It Takes.
But the music starts even before the Grand Prix weekend officially gets underway. Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli will perform at Etihad Arena on Wednesday, 2 December, as part of the inaugural Yasalam Classics Series.
He’ll be accompanied by the Armenian State Symphony Orchestra for a special performance celebrating 30 years of his iconic Romanza album.
The Yasalam programme will run alongside the F1 season finale, with concerts taking place from Thursday through Sunday and included with eligible Abu Dhabi Grand Prix tickets.
Organisers have already teased that more artists are still to be announced, meaning the line-up could get even bigger before December.
With high-speed racing, global music stars and four days of entertainment across Yas Island, Abu Dhabi’s F1 weekend is shaping up to be one of the biggest events on the 2026 calendar.
