PARTNER CONTENT: Fourteen years is a pretty good excuse for a party, and Porters English Pub is not planning to let the occasion quietly pass by.
The much-loved British-style pub at Grand Millennium Al Wahda Abu Dhabi is celebrating its 14th anniversary with a packed week of food, drinks, entertainment and good old-fashioned pub fun from 29 August to 5 September 2026.
The celebrations begin with an exclusive Anniversary Preview Brunch on Saturday, 29 August, giving regulars and guests the chance to get the party started early. The big birthday bash follows on Saturday, 5 September, with the Porters 14th Anniversary Brunch, which is open to the public.
Starting from 12.30pm, both brunches are designed to keep the celebrations going well beyond lunchtime. Guests can choose between a four-hour package for AED 399 for two or go all in with an eight-hour package for AED 699 for two.
There will be plenty happening throughout the day, including live entertainment from IP Boys, Go-Go Dancers, games and activities, plus a special host keeping the energy up from 1.30pm to 5pm.
Once the afternoon turns into evening, ACE takes over with karaoke from 5pm to 9pm, before DJ H2O and a live band carry the party through until the early hours at 4am.
For anyone who thinks one day of celebrating simply isn’t enough, Porters has also introduced a special staycation package.
Guests can enjoy one night’s accommodation, breakfast and a four-hour brunch for two for AED 799, essentially, a very good reason not to worry about who is driving home.
The anniversary celebrations are all part of Porters’ ’14 Years of Pints, Pals & Porters’ campaign, which pays tribute to the loyal guests who have helped make the pub a fixture in Abu Dhabi’s social scene.
And naturally, no birthday would be complete without gifts. Throughout the celebrations, guests will have the chance to win anniversary-themed giveaways and Porters-branded merchandise, adding a little extra fun to the festivities.
“Porters has been a home away from home for our regulars for 14 years, and this celebration is our way of saying thank you,” said Basel Abboud, Director of Food & Beverage at Grand Millennium Al Wahda Abu Dhabi.
“It’s still the same great British pub our guests know and love, just with a few more pints, pals and surprises this year.”
But the birthday party isn’t confined to the two brunches. From Sunday, 30 August through Friday, 4 September, Porters will be serving up a different anniversary special every evening, giving guests plenty of opportunities to join the celebrations throughout the week.

Sunday, 30 August – Anniversary Roast
Settle in for a proper Sunday roast with all the pub favourites, plus two house beverages. Available from 3pm to 11pm, the anniversary special is AED 99 per person.
Monday, 31 August – Taste of Anniversary
Fancy a little tasting tour? Enjoy four hops paired with either a starter for AED 79 or a main course for AED 99, available from 3pm.
Tuesday, 1 September – The Gentlemen’s Anniversary Edition
The boys’ night gets an anniversary upgrade, with two hours of unlimited beverages for AED 119 per person. Head down between 5pm and 11pm and let the good times roll.
Wednesday, 2 September – The Ladies’ Anniversary Edition
Girls’ night, sorted. From 6pm to midnight, enjoy unlimited spirits, signature drinks and bubbly with canapés for AED 79. It’s essentially everything needed for a very happy Wednesday.
Thursday, 3 September – The Big Fat Quiz Night: Anniversary Trivia with Sonya Mac
Put your general knowledge to the test with Sonya Mac from 7pm to 10pm. For AED 99, teams get 10 wings and two selected house beverages while battling for quiz glory.
Friday, 4 September – Anniversary Drunch
Kick off the weekend with two hours of free-flow drinks and a combo platter for AED 169, or make it three hours for AED 199. Available from 5pm to 9pm.
