Classical elegance and contemporary choreography unite
American Ballet Theatre brings its celebrated artistry to Abu Dhabi for an Arab world premiere programme showcasing the evolution of ballet.
The evening presents three landmark works that highlight the company’s versatility, technical brilliance and timeless storytelling.
The programme opens with Frederick Ashton’s Birthday Offering, a graceful tribute to classical ballet set to Alexander Glazunov’s radiant score.
It continues with Jiří Kylián’s Nuages, a dreamlike contemporary work inspired by the atmospheric music of Claude Debussy.
The performance concludes with Natalia Makarova’s Paquita, a grand classical masterpiece known for its dazzling choreography and celebrated Grand Pas Classique.
