You don’t need to be a pro to get involved in the Abu Dhabi Padel League 2026

If you’ve been looking for a fun, low-pressure way to get into padel, or just want a reason to stay active over the summer, the ‘Abu Dhabi Padel League 2026’ might be exactly what you need.

The league officially kicks off on 9 May, 2026, and runs through September, with eight rounds hosted across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Dhafra.

It’s designed so you can dip in and out or stay committed throughout, whatever suits your schedule.

Each round gives you the chance to earn points, thanks to a cumulative scoring system, meaning consistency pays off over time.

There are also different skill categories, including C and D, so you won’t be thrown in against highly advanced players if you’re still learning.

It keeps things competitive but fair, which makes it much more enjoyable for beginners and intermediate players.

What really stands out is the bigger picture behind the league. As Executive Director of Events Sector (ADSC) Talal Al Hashemi explained: “The launch of the Abu Dhabi Padel League 2026 represents an important step within our ongoing efforts at the Abu Dhabi Sports Council to promote sports and make it a daily lifestyle for all members of the community.”

He also highlighted the inclusive nature of the event, saying: “Through such initiatives, we are keen to provide inclusive competitive platforms that offer opportunities for everyone to participate, while helping discover and develop talent, in line with our vision of building a healthy and active society.”

And it’s not just about competition. The league aims to create a welcoming environment for all ages and backgrounds. As Al Hashemi added: “Through organising this league, we aim to support the growth of padel and strengthen its presence across all regions of the emirate, with a focus on engaging various age groups and community segments in a motivating and safe sporting environment.”

Practically speaking, you can treat this as a flexible fitness plan with a social twist. Play a few rounds, track your progress, meet other players, and enjoy the atmosphere.

Even if you’re not competing, it’s worth checking out, there will be activities for families and spectators too.

So, whether you’re picking up a racket for the first time or already play regularly, this league gives you a structured but relaxed way to stay active, improve your game, and be part of something bigger.
