Etihad Airways has resumed limited flights to international destinations
Etihad Airways has confirmed it is currently running a reduced but active flight schedule from Abu Dhabi, with services operating to a wide range of international destinations.
While flights have not fully returned to normal, the airline is continuing to connect the UAE capital with key cities across Europe, Asia, North America, and beyond.
However, travellers should be aware that schedules remain fluid and may change at short notice depending on regional airspace conditions.
What travellers need to know
Not all routes are operating daily, so it’s essential to check specific departure days and availability before making plans.
Before heading to the airport, passengers are strongly advised not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking or have been directly contacted by the airline.
To avoid disruption:

- Make sure your contact details are updated in your booking
- If you booked through an agent, contact them directly for changes or support

If your ticket was issued on or before 28 February 2026, and your travel date falls between 28 February and 15 April 2026, you can:
- Change your flight free of charge to a new Etihad service up to 15 May 2026
- Request a refund if you no longer wish to travel
- Changes beyond mid-May may come with additional fees.
Be cautious of scams
The airline has also warned passengers about fake social media accounts pretending to be Etihad. Travellers should only use official channels and avoid sharing personal or payment details.

Etihad has acknowledged that call centres are experiencing high demand, so response times may be longer than usual. Affected passengers are being contacted directly and, where necessary, supported with rebooking and accommodation.
