This event brings two full days of high-intensity motorsport to the capital
Another weekend, another solid excuse to make a beeline for Yas Marina Circuit.
Round 2 of the Yas Racing Series rolls into Yas Marina Circuit this weekend, 17–18 January, and if you like your weekends loud, fast and full of action, this one delivers.
It’s a proper back-to-back race schedule, with cars on track throughout both days and very little downtime in between. No filler, no fluff, just racing.
Expect close battles in the Gulf Radical Cup, where drivers push lightweight machines to their limits, alongside the sharp end of junior single-seater racing with Formula 4 and Formula Regional Middle East.
These are the categories where future stars cut their teeth, and it shows. The racing is aggressive, precise and unpredictable, with positions changing corner by corner and nothing decided until the final laps.

What makes the Yas Racing Series such a good watch is the access. You’re close to the action, the atmosphere is relaxed, and it feels refreshingly unfiltered compared to big headline race weekends.
You can wander between viewing spots, hear the engines properly and follow the ebb and flow of the racing without queues or crowds getting in the way.
It’s also one of the easiest weekend plans in the city. Entry is completely free, just register online, making it ideal whether you’re a long-time motorsport fan or simply curious to see what real circuit racing looks like up close.
Bring friends, bring the family, or just turn up solo and soak it in.
If you’ve been meaning to get back to the track, this is your sign. Two days, multiple championships, and plenty of wheel-to-wheel action, all at Yas Marina Circuit.
