Etihad Airways has just made history with the first Middle East flight to Luxembourg

Starting 29 October 2026, Etihad Airways will become the first Middle Eastern airline to fly nonstop from Abu Dhabi to Luxembourg, opening the door to one of Europe’s most charming and overlooked destinations.
With three weekly flights on Etihad’s cutting-edge A321LR, exploring the Grand Duchy has never been easier, or more stylish.
The flights promise a premium experience from start to finish.
First Class travellers will enjoy private First Suites, Business Class offers lie-flat comfort with direct aisle access, and even Economy passengers can stretch out in next-generation seats, watch 4K screens, pair devices via Bluetooth, and stay connected with onboard Wi-Fi.

Etihad CEO Antonoaldo Neves highlighted the route as a “landmark moment,” not only for the airline but for the connection it creates between Abu Dhabi and Europe.
“This is about more than flights, it’s about building bridges, enabling business opportunities, and giving travellers from Abu Dhabi easy access to a new, unforgettable destination,” he said.
