Nord Anglia schools have welcomed over 4,000 new students and their families as the new academic year begins
The new school year has begun with a significant milestone for Nord Anglia Education, which has welcomed over 4,000 new students and their families across its schools in the Middle East.
With eight schools now teaching over 18,000 children in the region, campuses from Dubai to Doha have been buzzing with the excitement of first days, new classmates, and the routines that mark a fresh academic year.
Liz Lamb, Regional Managing Director for the Middle East, reflected on the occasion:
“Welcoming over 4,000 new students this week is a powerful reminder of the role we play in shaping young lives.
At Nord Anglia, we are committed to providing an environment where every child can thrive—supported by exceptional educators, enriched by global opportunities, and guided by a belief in their limitless potential.”
The group’s schools have already had a strong year, with students achieving highly in A Levels, the IB Diploma and BTEC qualifications.
More than 500 graduates have gone on to universities around the world, supported by over $15 million in scholarships.
While results are one measure of success, Nord Anglia schools also emphasise creativity, leadership, digital skills and global citizenship.
The aim is to help young people develop into confident, compassionate learners who are ready to thrive beyond the classroom.
