One of the capital’s most iconic fine-dining destinations is back: Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard reopens this 2 September, 2025.

Get set to experience a refreshed seasonal menu, setting a new standard for modern French gastronomy in Abu Dhabi.

Located at Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri, overlooking the tranquil waters of Khor Al Maqta Creek, the award-winning restaurant invites guests to savour an innovative new menu crafted by acclaimed Chef Nicolas Isnard, renowned for his Michelin-starred expertise and global culinary vision.

Chef Isnard’s new menu draws inspiration from his extensive travels, blending classic French techniques with bold international flavours, from the delicate notes of Thai-inspired miso to the warmth of Mediterranean spice.

Drawing from Chef Isnard’s travels and epicurean adventures across the globe, the refreshed menu presents a harmonious interplay of flavours and textures.

Each dish reflects the chef’s philosophy of seamlessly blending traditional French cooking techniques with exciting contemporary twists, offering flavours from France to Thailand.

Guests can begin their dining experience with an array of sumptuous starters such as Pan-fried French Snails in an open ravioli with parsley and garlic; Smoked Salmon and Takuan Rose served with green apple, miso gel in a creamed dashi broth with roe and caviar; and their signature Modern Onion Soup, amongst others.

Moving on to mains, highlights include Roasted Half Canadian Lobster served with cauliflower and passion fruit sauce; Australian Wagyu Beef Tenderloin served alongside palm hearts and kumquat; and Slow-Cooked Turbot with saffron mussel cream, seaweed and Confit Ratte potatoes.

To finish on a sweet note, diners can indulge in Bord Eau’s version of the Belle Hélène Pear in a 70 per cent Grand Cru dark chocolate melted ball or a decadent take on the classic Tiramisu infused with truffle flavours.

For those seeking the ultimate gourmand experience, Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard also presents a four-course and a six-course set menu, carefully curated to showcase his best dishes and paired perfectly with a premium selection of grapes and sparkling.
