From 27–28 June, from 6pm to 11pm, the museum is hosting a culinary takeover that promises a sensory feast unlike any other.
Enter: Kooya Filipino Eatery, the acclaimed dining concept from Chef JP Anglo, one of the Philippines’ most exciting culinary talents. Known for reinterpreting Filipino comfort food with bold creativity, Chef JP is bringing his flavour-packed artistry straight from Manila to Saadiyat Island.
Step into the Kooya x Museum Café pop-up, where each dish is a celebration of heritage, memory, and reinvention.
The menu is a vibrant journey through the Philippines – from bulalo-filled empanadas and crunchy okoy fritters, to lumpia Shanghai fried to golden perfection.

Craving more? Mains showcase the heart and soul of Filipino cuisine, with showstoppers like adobo fried chicken, melt-in-your-mouth beef caldereta, rich kare kare peanut stew, and the spicy, coconut-laced gising gising.
