Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi is helping professionals stay ahead of the digital curve with a brand-new AI training course designed for busy lives

Launching on Tuesday 20 May, Generative AI: Introduction and Prompt Engineering for Professionals offers a friendly, accessible way to unlock the power of artificial intelligence — no technical experience needed.

Open to the public and held at SUAD’s campus, the three-hour course is designed to show how AI can boost everyday work tasks, from streamlining emails to summarising information and enhancing decision-making.

Developed by the Sorbonne Center for Artificial Intelligence (SCAI) and delivered through the university’s Continuing Education Center, the programme will be led by Dr. Xavier Fresquet, Deputy Director of SCAI.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with generative AI and prompt engineering, plus access to AI toolkits for future learning.

Professor Nathalie Martial-Braz, Chancellor of Sorbonne University Abu Dhabi, said: “It offers practical, accessible training that empowers individuals to navigate emerging technologies like AI – supporting the UAE’s wider vision to become global leaders in artificial intelligence and innovation.”

The course runs from 9:30am to 12:30pm, with a fee of AED 1,000 and certificates awarded upon completion. Registration is now open here.
