One flight, three epic seasons. Whether you’re chasing sun-kissed beaches, crisp mountain air, or fresh powder for skiing, Sochi is calling, and Etihad Airways is making it easier than ever to get there.Starting 29 May, the UAE’s national airline is launching nonstop flights from Abu Dhabi to Sochi, a year-round paradise on the northeast coast of the Black Sea. Dubbed the Russian Riviera, Sochi is a beach lover’s dream in summer and a winter sports hub when the snow starts falling over the Caucasus Mountains.

Flights will run three times a week – Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays – on Etihad’s modern A320 aircraft, designed for comfort and style, whether you’re heading for a city escape or an adrenaline-packed adventure.

This new route isn’t just a win for those heading to Sochi – it’s also a golden opportunity for Russian travellers to explore the UAE capital, Abu Dhabi.

SKYLINES, street food, and culture — Taipei awaits!

A city break in Taipei isn’t always top of mind, but if you’re heading to Taiwan, it’s a stop you won’t want to skip. This is a buzzing capital where towering skyscrapers meet historic temples, night markets, and breathtaking views.

Start with a climb up Elephant Mountain – 600 steps to the city’s best skyline shot. Taipei 101 dominates the view, but don’t stop there. Ride one of the world’s fastest elevators to the 89th-floor observatory or go higher to Skyline460.

Hungry? Din Tai Fung’s legendary soup dumplings are worth the wait. Grab a queue number before heading up Taipei 101, and by the time you’re back down, your table’s ready.

With Etihad Airways increasing flights from Abu Dhabi to Taipei to seven times a week in September, the city is more accessible than ever. From street food feasts to panoramic views, Taipei is calling.

Rivers, markets, and history — Phnom Penh beckons!

Where three rivers meet, Phnom Penh stands as Cambodia’s vibrant capital, blending history, culture, and riverside charm. Once the heart of the Khmer empire, today it’s a city of wide boulevards, colonial architecture, and a growing skyline.

Flying into Phnom Penh, the first thing you’ll notice is the city’s unique blend of old and new. Golden temple spires rise alongside colonial-era buildings, while bustling markets spill onto the streets. The wide boulevards and riverside promenades give the city an unexpectedly laid-back feel.

Phnom Penh’s bustling Russian Market is a must for bargain hunters – just be ready to haggle. As the sun sets, the riverfront comes alive. Grab a drink at Juniper Gin Bar or enjoy Khmer cuisine at The Green House.

The city also offers cultural treasures like the Royal Palace, Silver Pagoda, and the haunting yet powerful Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum.

With Etihad Airways increasing flights from Abu Dhabi to Phnom Penh five times a week from October, exploring this capital has never been easier.
