It may be time to get the umbrellas out again in the UAE this week as various regions will witness sporadic rainfall, chilly breezes, and windy conditions across the country.

The weather is expected to remain uncertain in Dubai, Abu Dhabi and many other parts of the UAE today, 25 February as per the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Expect cloudy skies and a slight chance of rain in certain areas, particularly in Abu Dhabi, where temperatures will dip to 18°C.

Dubai will also experience cloudy conditions, with temperatures falling to 19°C. The Northern Emirates, including Fujairah, could see more rain, with temperatures dropping to 18°C. Light rain has already been observed in parts of Fujairah early this morning.

The NCM has also issued yellow and orange alerts for rough seas and strong winds, reaching speeds of up to 60 km/h in the Arabian Gulf.

Wave heights may reach up to 10 feet, with these conditions expected to persist until 6 am tomorrow, Wednesday, 26 February 2025.

The authorities have advised caution regarding outdoor activities and urged residents and visitors to stay informed about the latest weather alerts.

Stay safe (and dry) everyone!
