Big news! Al Ain Zoo has just dropped the entry fee for UAE residents aged 60+, all year round

If you’re 60 or over and love a good day out, this one’s for you – Al Ain Zoo is now completely free for you to visit!

Until now, only those aged 70+ got in for free, but in honour of the Year of Community, they’ve lowered the age limit.

That means more people can explore lush landscapes, up-close animal encounters, and conservation efforts – all without spending a dirham on entry.

Why the change?

The UAE is all about bringing people together, and this move fits right in.

The Year of Community is all about inclusion, shared experiences, and making sure everyone feels part of something bigger.

And what better way to do that than opening the gates to one of Abu Dhabi’s most loved attractions?

What’s inside?

Picture this: a leisurely walk past roaring lions and graceful gazelles, a coffee break with a view of exotic birds, or a tram ride through vast open enclosures – all at no cost.

Al Ain Zoo is a must-visit, whether you’re an animal lover, a nature enthusiast, or just looking for a peaceful outdoor escape.

And they’ve made sure getting around is easy and accessible.

Here’s what you’ll find:

  • Smooth, wheelchair-friendly pathways
  • On-site transport to get you from A to B without a hassle
  • Wheelchairs available at the Visitor Happiness Office
