In anticipation of the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants awards on 28 January 2025, the 50 Best Signature Sessions dining series is unveiled.
Running from 26 to 30 January, this programme brings together world-renowned chefs and exceptional local talent for extraordinary culinary collaborations at some of Abu Dhabi’s most iconic restaurants.
On 26 January guests can enjoy four unique dinners. First, at Fouquet’s – within the stunning Louvre Abu Dhabi – Jason Atherton collaborates with Balveer Balkissoon for a modern British and French fusion.
At Bord Eau in the Shangri-La Qaryat Al Beri hotel, Helène Darroze teams up with David Tavernier to blend Moroccan and French flavours.
Meanwhile, Sara Aqel and Faisal Alharmoodi celebrate Jordanian and Emirati cuisines together at Ryba, while at Talea by Antonio
Guida in the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, visiting star chef Norbert Niederkofler presents sustainable Italian gastronomy alongside Talea: Luigi Stinga.
Other highlights include Japanese chef Goh Fukuyama at Strawfire (27 January), Johanne Siy at José by Pizarro, Fayçal Bettioui of Table 3 at Butcher & Still (27 January), renowned Portuguese chel José Avillez at Catch at St. Regis
(29 January), and Eddie Castro and Kenji Sarco of Kuuru at Oak Room (29 January). On 30 January, Mostafa Seif of Khufu’s in Cairo will showcase Egyptian dishes alongside chel Sergio Cabrers at MouzMari.
On the same evening, Patricia Roig of Boca and the Paradiso team will collaborate on a Mediterranean-inspired dinner to round off the series with a focus on sustainability.
