The 10th Traditional Handicrafts Festival returns to Al Ain’s Souq Al Qattara from 29 October to 17 November 2024, inviting visitors to experience the beauty of Emirati craftsmanship. Organised by the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, this vibrant, family-friendly event celebrates Emirati heritage with live performances, workshops, and a traditional market filled with unique handicrafts, aromatic coffee, and authentic Emirati cuisine. Explore live demonstrations of Al-Sadu weaving, Talli, and pottery, enjoy student sessions in the mornings, and soak up the full festival experience each evening from 4pm to 11pm. Entry is free, making this a perfect cultural escape for all ages.
