Two new huge acts announced for Yasalam After-Race Concerts

Teddy Swims and Peggy Gou to take to the stage on the opening day of the musical extravaganza

 

Leading American singer and song-writer Teddy Swims and South Korean DJ and singer, Peggy Gou have just been announced as the final artists in a world-class lineup at the Etihad Airways Abu Dhabi Grand Prix Yasalam Concerts in December.

These popular artists will headline the opening day of the 2024 event and will definitely cause a stir among pop music fans in the region.

Teddy Swims, 31, who masterfully blends genres including R&B, soul, country and pop, will take to the stage on Thursday 5, December at Etihad Park and will perform some of his biggest hits including ‘Lose Control’.

Peggy Gou, who has become one of the world’s most recognisable names in dance music and beyond, will then perform and close out the first evening of concerts over a thrilling race week.

They complete Yasalam’s stellar After-Race Concert line-up after American pop stars Maroon 5, global hip-hop icon Eminem, and British rock legends Muse were earlier revealed for the F1 season-finale weekend.

Having begun his music career in 2019 through cover songs on YouTube including Michael Jackson’s ‘Rock with You’, Swims rose to fame with his breakout multi-platinum single, ‘Lose Control’ – his first No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

Peggy Gou has been honouring electronic music’s heritage whilst imprinting upon it her own unique personality. She will play some of her best-known hits including ‘It Makes You Forget’ (Itgehane), Starry Night, Jigoo (with US house music legend Maurice Fulton), Nabi (with fellow Korean Sensation (OHHYUK), and ‘Go’, earning global acclaim.

With the line-up confirmed for the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix concerts, fans can look forward to an unmissable four-days.

Following Swims’ and Gou’s performances, Maroon 5 will take to the stage on Friday before multiple Grammy award winner and rapper Eminem performs on Saturday.

The Yasalam Official After-Party makes its debut with the world-renowned electronic music event, Afterlife, taking place at Yas Gateway Park on 6 December.
