Taking place at the Country Club Gold Ballroom, the highly anticipated family-friendly event has become a beloved tradition since its inception in 2019. This year’s festival is particularly special, as it is dedicated to honouring the invaluable contributions of women to Urdu culture and society.

From midday until late in the evening, attendees can immerse themselves in a full day of cultural activities that highlight the beauty and depth of Urdu literature, art, and music.

The festival will feature a poetry session, Sukhanwar Bahut Achchhe, where guests can experience the lyrical elegance of Urdu poetry. Children will take the stage in Bazm-e-Chubhan, a dramatic presentation that explores important cultural themes, adding a touch of youthful energy to the proceedings.

Humour will also be a key element of the day, with the comedy show Hanste Raho offering a light-hearted take on everyday life, all performed in the expressive tones of Urdu. Storytelling enthusiasts will be captivated by Kahani Suno, a series of engaging Urdu narratives that promise to enchant audiences of all ages.

Music lovers are in for a treat as the festival includes Qawwali performances, allowing attendees to lose themselves in the spiritual and soulful rhythms of Sufi music. The melodic art of Urdu ghazals will also be on display, providing a deeply emotional and resonant experience for those who appreciate this unique musical form.

Beyond performances, the festival offers a vibrant Fun Bazaar, where visitors can explore a marketplace filled with products that reflect the rich cultural heritage of the Urdu-speaking world. The bazaar will also feature interactive activities, ensuring that there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Families and children are particularly welcome at the festival, with a range of activities designed to entertain and engage younger visitors. From crafts to games, these experiences will provide a fun and educational way for children to connect with the Urdu language and its cultural expressions.
