The British International School Abu Dhabi students ace their GCSEs, with top-notch grades and a stellar value-added score
There’s a distinct buzz at The British International School Abu Dhabi (BIS Abu Dhabi), where students have smashed it in the recent IGCSE exams.
With hard work, dedication, and a sprinkle of school spirit, the students have proven just how high they can soar.
Here’s the scoop
One in every three grades hit the world-class 9-8 mark – talk about setting the bar high!
And that’s not all; half of the GCSE grades landed in the top 9-7 range. Can we get a round of applause? It’s clear that the students are on fire when it comes to academics.
But wait, there’s more!
A whopping 91 per cent of all grades were between 9-4. This just goes to show the strong academic foundation that BIS Abu Dhabi has built. Students aren’t just passing; they’re acing it across the board.
And if that wasn’t enough to make you do a happy dance, the school also has a Value-Added Score of +1. This means the students are making stellar progress no matter where they started. High achievers, everyone’s included in the success story here.
Aine McGlue, Head of Secondary, couldn’t have said it better: “This achievement is a testament not only to the hard work of our students and teachers but also to the unwavering support and dedication of our parents and the wider school community. I could not be more proud.”
Big congratulations to all the amazing students, teachers, and families!
