A centre designed to support the Abu Dhabi Family Wellbeing Strategy has been announced this week by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
His Highness has approved the launch of the Medeem Center for Family Nurturing and this initiative, part of the Medeem project by the Department of Community Development, which aims to enhance family cohesion and stability in Abu Dhabi.
The center will offer a range of services including educational courses, counseling, and community initiatives to help engaged and newly married couples.
By promoting authentic Emirati values and customs, it ensures that couples are well-prepared for married life, contributing to the creation of stable and cohesive families.
One of the center’s standout features is the ‘Journey of a Lifetime Experience, which uses AI-powered technology to assist couples in planning their weddings, ensuring that their choices align with traditional Emirati principles.

Additionally, the center provides family mediation, post-divorce counseling, child custody arrangements, and educational programs aimed at fostering positive parenting and family stability.
Developed in line with international standards and local traditions, the center employs experts and mentors in marital relations, family counseling, and psychological support.
It aims to equip young individuals with the necessary skills for a successful marriage and responsible parenting, thereby promoting social cohesion and contributing to the sustainable development of Emiratis in Abu Dhabi.
By providing comprehensive preventive services, early interventions, and continuous follow-ups, the Medeem Center for Family Nurturing is set to play a crucial role in fostering the growth and development of Emirati families, ensuring their stability and wellbeing.
