A year of impact
Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an’s 2023 report highlights its diverse and impactful initiatives. Over the past year, it launched 57 projects across social, health, environmental, infrastructure, and educational sectors. T
This extensive outreach was made possible through partnerships with entities like the Department of Municipalities and Transport, Abu Dhabi City Municipality, and the Family Care Authority.

His Excellency Dr Mughir Al Khaili, Chairman of the Department of Community Development, emphasised the importance of these contributions, stating, “Individuals have always been our paramount focus and our nation’s true wealth.
“In 2023, a total of AED 91 million was directed towards projects addressing social priorities, ultimately enhancing the quality of life for our community members.”

Supporting this view, Dr Bushra Al Mulla, Director General of the Family Care Authority, highlighted the tangible benefits of Authority for Social Contribution – Ma’an’s collaborative approach.
She praised Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an role in strengthening Abu Dhabi’s social sector, explaining that their joint efforts are pivotal in advancing the Abu Dhabi Family Wellbeing Strategy.
“Together, we are forging an even more inclusive, collaborative, and cohesive society,” she said.

Easy contributions for a big impact
Authority for Social Contribution – Ma’an encourages financial contributions to sustain its initiatives, with 100 per cent of fundraising transparently deployed to support various programmes.

Through their platform, corporates and businesses can co-develop social impact programmes, aligning their CSR goals with community benefits.
Contributions can be made quickly and easily via maan.gov.ae or through the dedicated mobile app, available on Apple and Android devices.
By supporting Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an, the community plays an active role in realising Abu Dhabi’s vision of a collaborative and inclusive society.
Significant allocations and achievements
In 2023, Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an allocated AED 91 million across various sectors, benefiting 161,059 people.
Of this, AED 41.1 million supported 28 social sector projects, promoting well-being and inclusivity.
The health sector received AED 28.05 million for 12 projects, enhancing social healthcare services.
Education saw AED 9.3 million invested in 10 projects, improving opportunities for low-income families.
Environmental and infrastructure initiatives received AED 12.7 million, funding seven projects focused on sustainability and quality of life improvements.
Additionally, Authority of Social Contribution – Ma’an raised AED 1.8 million through ATM & ADPAY, benefiting diverse community groups including People of Determination, senior citizens, students, patients, and orphans.
