NBA stars to return
4-6 October, Etihad Arena
Basketball fans in the region will be happy to hear that two of the NBA’s most famous teams will be heading to Abu Dhabi this October for a pre-season face-off like no other.
Etihad Arena is set to welcome 18-time NBA champions Boston Celtics and 2023 NBA Champions Denver Nuggets for a basketball extravaganza between 4 to 6 October.
The Celtics currently feature five-time NBA All-Star Jayson Tatum, three-time NBA All-Star Jaylen Brown, 2021 NBA champion Jrue Holiday and 2018 NBA All-Star Kristaps Porziņģis.
Holiday participated in the inaugural NBA Abu Dhabi Games in 2022 as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks.
The Nuggets currently feature two-time Kia NBA Most Valuable Player and six-time NBA All-Star Nikola Jokić, Jamal Murray and Aaron Gordon.
