New restaurants have been added to the Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi 2024, check them out right here
The second edition of the Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi has had the entire UAE capital buzzing in excitement, gourmands and otherwise.
A total of 46 restaurants have walked away with the honour of being featured, covering 21 different types of cuisine. And the highest accolades this year feature four Michelin Stars and six Bib Gourmands.
While the old hats have retained their stars, a total of nine restaurants were new additions to the Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi 2024.
Starting with Erth, now the fourth restaurant in Abu Dhabi to be awarded the coveted One Michelin Star status. Meaning ‘legacy’, the beautiful property is located in the shadow of Qasr Al Hosn. With modern twists to traditional Emirati flavours, they have earned a well-deserved spot both on the guide and in the hearts of residents.
Erth then becomes the latest to join the restaurants already awarded a Michelin Star in last year’s inaugural guide: Talea by Antonio Guida, Hakkasan and 99 Sushi Bar.

Furthermore, six establishments now hold a Michelin Bib Gourmand, the old ones being Almayass, Beirut Sur Mer, Otoro and ťazal; and the two newly awarded this year, Oii and Al Mrzab.
A brasserie with heart, Oii is the place to go for Mediterranean cravings done right. The prices are as attractive as the plates, and the team on hand will create an experience you will go back to a lot more than you’d have thought!
And it’s the long queues at Al Mrzab that make this traditional restaurant a worthy choice. Buzzing with happy vibes, it’s the best spot in town for good-value Emirati and Kuwaiti dishes.
Apart from the above the Service Award was bagged by Chandran Thanggaraja, Kopitiam by Chandy’s, the Opening of the Year Award went to Les Dangereux, and the Young Chef Award went to Rigers Cuka, Oii.
In a selection as diverse as this, what stands out is Abu Dhabi’s culinary ambition and skill. For incoming tourists and local gourmands, there’s no better place than those awarded by the Michelin Guide Abu Dhabi 2024, with several more to come in the future!
