Twenty junior riders will battle it out at the FIM World Supercross Championship in two race categories: 65cc and 85cc
The motorsport community in the region is buzzing with excitement as the UAE’s top junior riders prepare for a momentous occasion in their careers.
With just over a week to go until the FIM World Supercross Championship, 20 junior riders are gearing up to make their mark and join the ranks of experienced champions at the WSX Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Etihad Arena on 4 November.
The young riders will compete in their own race category on the day, showcasing their talents in front the huge crowd of motorsports fans. Hailing from across the UAE, ten of the juniors will compete in the 85cc category, with the other ten riding in the 65cc category.
Saif Rashid Al Noaimi, CEO of Ethara, emphasised how important it is to support young talent in motorsport. He says: “We’re not just about the races; we’re about nurturing the sport’s future. We’re thrilled to give these young riders the chance to show off their skills at the inaugural World Supercross Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This is where dreams take flight, and we’re here to make those dreams come true.”
