the only constant, NYUAD Art Gallery
Until 4 June
Provocative in all the best ways, ‘the only constant’ is NYU Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) Art Gallery’s latest spring exhibition. Running until 4 June, the brilliant show was inspired by the work of legendary artist Tarek Al-Ghoussein.
Also featured are artists like Patty Chang, Gil Heitor Cortesão, Sharon Lockhart, Taus Makhacheva, Haroon Mirza, Clifford Ross, Thomas Struth, and Vivek Vilasini. Featuring 27 different works, the exhibition is curated by Maya Allison, Executive Director of The NYUAD Art Gallery and University Chief Curator. Wireless Festival
11 March
Making an epic debut in Abu Dhabi is the highly energetic Wireless Festival! Ready to rock Etihad Park, Yas Island on 11 March, it’s time to countdown to a fabulous time. The line-up is all things Sicko Mode, with Travis Scott and global megastar M.I.A headlining.
Adding to the list of sensational musical acts are the likes of Raja Kumari, Lil UziVert, Wegz, Black Sherif, Ali Gatie, King, Divine, and Young Stunners to name a few. This edition of one of the UK’s biggest urban music festivals is bound to have people screaming in anticipation.

Kapamilya superstars

The biggest and brightest Kapamilya superstars are set to head to the stage at the Abu Dhabi National Theatre on Saturday, 18 March.
Actors Zanjoe Marudo, Kathryn Bernado, Daniel Padilla and Joshua Garcia are ready to greet their major fans in the UAE capital all the way from the Philippines. If you enjoy dry humour with a satisfactory sprinkle of satire, this set is perfect for you! Stand-up comedians Mo Amer and Maz Jobrani are slated to perform in Abu Dhabi, sure to have all of Etihad Arena fall off their seats chuckling.

Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi League

The expanded second season of the Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi League has been on since 21 January!
On until 12 March, the season features boys and girls leagues each comprised of 450 players, aged anywhere between 11-14 from schools across the UAE capital city. While the inaugural season saw 30 teams, they’ve doubled it up this time around. With the finals coming around quick, it’s time to see who walks away with the coveted title!
