And start 2023 afresh with pleasant weather!
Abu Dhabi residents, it’s time to take your umbrellas out – again! Because New Year’s Eve might have some showers in store for us.
That’s right! The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has published a weather forecast with skies being partly cloudy and scattered rainfall in some areas of the country.
The weather will see a shift from light to moderate winds, freshening gradually by morning, and strong at times especially over the sea, with a speed of 15 – 30 reaching 50 km/hr.
And that’s just for today!

Friday will be humid followed by a partially cloudy weather, but the temperature might face a slight rise. Winds will mostly be light to moderate as well so make sure you have a sweater on you while you’re heading out.
On to the last day of the year, Saturday will be partly cloudy with a probability of light rainfall. But don’t let that take over your New Year’s Eve plans. Morning will be humid, but winds will prevail in the evening.
On January 1, start afresh and wake up to a pleasant weather letting go of 2022’s rain.
