Sheikh Zayed Festival to host a spectacular 40-minute firework display.

New Year is on the horizon and that horizon promises to be a cascade of colour when Abu Dhabi plans to break not one, but three Guinness World Records this New Year’s Eve.

The  Sheikh Zayed Festival’s pyrotechnics team aims to put on spectacular display of fireworks lasting a whopping 40 minutes and in the process break three Guinness World Records in terms of duration, volume and formation.  Exciting stuff!

Not only that but a staggering also 3000 drones are set to head into the sky as you ring in the new year.

As if that isn’t enough, there are more many activities for you to enjoy with your family.

Between 3 pm to 2 am, get to experience a unique art exhibition that showcases the UAE’s heritage. And the little ones get to enjoy plays and circus performances at the Children’s Theater, fun games and some brilliant sports activities by Al Forsan International Sports Resort.

There’s also a Global Civilization Parade that includes more than 27 countries from all over the world welcoming the New Year through carnival shows, international folkloric performances and cultural shows.
