PAROS

Rooftop dining with great views

Located on the 46th floor, Paros is a popular sundowner destination to unwind and enjoy the sun setting behind Dubai’s skyline. The Mediterranean inspired rooftop pool bar offers a relaxed, laid-back vibe with a menu to match. Extended happy hour promotions and events such as Wednesday Ladies’ night, live performances on weekends and night brunches may entice you to carry on late into the evening.

TAMOKA

Good food against a beautiful backdrop

Enjoy the last of the cooler evening weather at a seaside restaurant, Tamoka. Inspired by Latin American flavours, it offers a clear sunset view and a fantastic spot to enjoy Ain Dubai, the world’s largest observation wheel, colourfully alive at night. Lush, vibrant greenery is contrasted with the natural colour scheme both inside and out. There are many seating options available so a family meal, sundowners with friends or a romantic date night are all catered for. They showcase an extensive sundowner menu of mixology combinations and beautifully presented signature ceviche, succulent seafood, oysters and more.

FI’LIA

A room with a view

Artisanal Italian food destination, Fi’lia, (derived from the word figlia, meaning daughter in Italian) prides itself on being the region’s first female-led restaurant. The view from the 70th floor terrace is not to be missed, especially whilst enjoying an aperitivo complemented by a specially crafted menu. Fresh ingredients served in an unpretentious setting mean Fi’lia is a fantastic choice for all the family.

Shimmers

Superb al fresco setting

For an uninterrupted sunset view over the Arabian Gulf, Shimmers beach restaurant promises to tempt you with its understated chic décor, chilled beats from their resident DJ, combined with beautifully presented dishes.

Just steps away from the sea, this breezy beachfront venue lends a Mediterranean vibe. An alfresco dining experience, feel the sand between your toes as you soak up the landscape on the Mina A’Salam private beach or opt for the air-conditioned terrace.

After sitting back and enjoying a sundowner, choosing a bite from the food menu is a must. Shimmers boasts an innovative Greek-inspired menu created by experienced Chef Roberto Rispoli. Signature dishes include butterfly grilled sea bass, delicious salad combinations, tuna carpaccio and mouth-watering plant-based options. The creamy Greek yoghurt ice cream is also a firm favourite.

By night, the sound of the lapping waves, combined with the soft glow of beach lanterns and colourful light display of the Burj Al Arab make it a great sensory backdrop to dine, date and socialise.

A reservation is highly recommended and should be done at least two weeks in advance. Bookings with children under 12 are welcome until 6.30pm. Shimmers’ last day of business this year is 30 June, but if you cannot make it in time, be sure to plan your visit during their winter season starting from 15 September.
