Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship registrations are now open

This will be the 14th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship.

You can now secure your place at the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship (ADWPJJC) after the registration process was opened.

The decision taken by the UAE Jiu-Jitsu Federation (UAEJJ) was in response to the high interest in participation at the tournament.

Taking place between 11 to 19 November at the Jiu-Jitsu Arena in Abu Dhabi, the ADWPJJC will see the Abu Dhabi World Jiu-Jitsu Festival, a two-day event that will include contests for children, adults and para-athletes.

The Abu Dhabi World Youth Jiu-Jitsu Championship will be held on 13 and 14 November before Abu Dhabi World Masters Jiu-Jitsu Championship takes to the mat on 15 and 16 November, featuring some of the sport’s elite names aged 30 and up from various nationalities.

The main event will begin on 17 November where the professionals showcase their skills with the champions crowned on Sunday 19 November.

The 2022 tournament is the 14th edition of the ADWPJJC and will attract thousands of competitors across the globe to compete in the various categories.

Speaking on the news Mohammed Salem Al Dhaheri, Vice Chairman of the UAEJJF said: “An exceptional championship by all standards awaits the jiu-jitsu family as it builds on the remarkable success of the previous decade, particularly in November of last year when Abu Dhabi hosted more than 6,000 male and female players during the Jiu-Jitsu World Championships and the 13th edition of the Abu Dhabi World Professional Jiu-Jitsu Championship.”
