Here’s how to get kids training for football matches again

Strength and conditioning are part of a new programme about to start for the young ones.

Pass Abu Dhabi

The pandemic has had a huge effect on our lives, not least our young kids. But thanks to the UAE government a sense of normalcy is returning. Gyms have reopened and other sporting centres are delivering activities again.

‘PASS’ Abu Dhabi is just one of them. From Sunday 25 October, it will roll out a combination of online football sessions and outdoor strength and conditioning activities for young children aged between seven years old to 15 years old.

The outdoor sessions will be held at Zayed Cricket Stadium and have been approved by Abu Dhabi Sports Council.

For seven to 10 year olds, the seven week sessions are Sundays 5pm to 5.45pm and Wednesdays 5pm to 5.45pm. For those aged 11 and above, sessions are held on Mondays 5pm to 5.45pm and Wednesdays 6pm to 6.45pm. The cost is between AED 420 and AED 630.

The sessions end on Wednesday, 7 December, 2020 and registration is a must.
