The National Centre Meteorology reported that fog and mist formation is possible too

The UAE witnessed the heaviest rainfall in 75 years this week, as reported by the National Centre of Meteorology (NCM).

Despite ongoing recovery efforts, residents may face more rain in the coming days.

According to the NCM, from Friday, 19 April to Sunday 20 April, the UAE will experience humid weather with possible fog and mist formation, along with partly cloudy skies.

Moving into the new week, Monday 22 April is expected to see light rainfall, intensifying to moderate and heavy rain on Tuesday 23 April.

Cumulus clouds may form over mountains on Saturday 20 April, accompanied by rainfall, while Monday and Tuesday could see light to moderate rain, potentially heavy in some areas, raising coastal temperatures.

The recent storm led schools to shift to remote learning and prompted many public and private offices to adopt remote working arrangements.

While no further updates have been released, ongoing monitoring is in place to keep the public informed.

The UAE is in the process of recovering from the effects of the recent unprecedented storm and heavy rain that struck earlier this week.

Public transportation, airports, and flights were disrupted but are gradually returning to normal operations.

Readers are advised to stay informed through official social media channels for the latest updates.
