Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan serves as UAE Vice-President alongside His Highness Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum
In a series of key appointments, His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, has named Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan as UAE Vice-President and Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan as Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi.
According to state news agency WAM, the presidential appointment was made “with the approval of the UAE Federal Supreme Council, to appoint His Highness Sheikh Mansour Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Minister of Presidential Court, as UAE Vice President, alongside His Highness Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai”.

In his capacity as Ruler of Abu Dhabi, Sheikh Mohamed also appointed Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed and Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed as Deputy Rulers of Abu Dhabi.
Sheikh Mohamed has also issued an Emiri decree restructuring the Executive Council of Abu Dhabi under the chairmanship of Sheikh Khaled.

Senior UAE officials have extended their congratulations following the presidential announcements.
Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid applauded the “leaders of a new generation” in a statement posted on Twitter.
“I congratulate my brother Sheikh Hazza, Sheikh Tahnoun, Sheikh Mansour and Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed,” he said. “In you and your brothers, the leaders of the new generation, the march continues.”
